Abstract:
The Emotional matured and Social Intelligent teachers are the backbone of any Nation, This study was undertaken to investigate the Emotional maturity and social Intelligence of Trainee teachers. The survey method was used for data collection and a sample of 120 trainee teachers were selected. The Emotional maturity test and Social Intelligence test was administered to the selected sample. The findings showed that Emotional Maturity level of trainee teachers was Unstable and Social Intelligence is average. There is negative correlation between Emotional Maturity and Social Intelligence.
